Liana Jacobson of Radically Aligned Bodywork offers Thai yoga therapy, private yoga, and Pilates in Minnesota, helping clients feel better in their bodies through personalized care.
If you've never heard of Thai therapy before, let us introduce you to one of Minnesota’s most grounded and radiant practitioners: Liana Jacobson, founder of Radically Aligned Bodywork. Liana brings a refreshing, down-to-earth energy to the wellness world making ancient healing practices like Thai yoga therapy, Pilates, and private yoga feel not only approachable, but joyful and personal.
We recently sat down for a conversation to hear more about her story, the inspiration behind her studio, and how she helps her clients manage stress, reconnect to their bodies, and feel empowered through movement.

Liana’s story isn’t one of overnight success. It’s a slow and intentional unfolding of passion, movement, and service. She started teaching yoga at just 19 years old, and after traveling and teaching across the country, she returned to Minnesota and noticed a growing problem: yoga was becoming more about fitness and less about accessibility.
So in 2020, Liana opened her own private practice to create a new kind of wellness space one that slowed down, broke things down, and prioritized comfort, clarity, and confidence. Since then, she’s added mat Pilates and Thai therapy to her offerings, building a practice that meets clients exactly where they are. Whether you’re stiff, stressed, recovering from injury, or simply want to feel better in your body, Liana’s got your back (literally).
Liana specializes in Thai yoga therapy, an interactive and movement-based bodywork practice that blends elements of massage, acupressure, assisted stretching, and energy work. Sessions are held on a cushioned mat, where clients fully relax while Liana gently mobilizes and restores their body from head to toe.
She also offers private yoga and Pilates sessions (both in-person and virtual), helping clients develop strength, mobility, and a better understanding of their own bodies. Everything she does is rooted in a trauma-informed, client-first approach.
In a wellness world often full of rigid rules and one-size-fits-all answers, Liana offers something rare: compassionate customization. She sees every client as a whole person not just their injuries, pain, or stress. With her, conversation is part of the care.
“I want to know more than just your symptoms,” she said. “What did you get into last weekend? What makes you laugh? What lights you up?”
She also values integrity over ego—if something doesn’t work for you, she’ll help you find someone else who might be a better fit. It’s this grounded, generous perspective that keeps clients coming back.
Liana splits her time between her studio and her role in accounting and intellectual property. Her mornings start early often with a 5 AM workout and private client sessions before transitioning into her corporate workday. In the evenings and weekends, you’ll find her back on the mat, helping clients stretch, strengthen, and realign.
This balance helps her bring both creativity and structure into her practice and proves that healing doesn’t have to look like just one thing.

Liana works with people who care deeply coaches, service providers, and everyday helpers who spend their lives showing up for others. Her work offers them a rare gift: time to receive.
“I love that I get to care for the people who care for everyone else,” she shared.
