Partnering with Coco allowed Heyven to create welcoming networking hangouts where business owners connected organically, explored coworking as a resource, and built relationships that extended beyond the event.

Some partnerships work because they share a goal. Others work because they share a way of being.
When Heyven partnered with Coco, it wasn’t about hosting another networking event. It was about coming together under one mission: to foster real community and connection by creating spaces that feel comfortable, welcoming, and human.
With #HeyvenConnections: The Networking Hangout, we intentionally stripped networking down to its most meaningful form. No pitching. No pressure. No forced introductions. Just people, in the same room, given permission to talk, listen, and connect in ways that felt natural.
Hosted at Coco’s Northeast Minneapolis location, these events invited business owners, creatives, and leaders to close their laptops and be present. The space itself set the tone—warm, open, and designed for people to feel at ease. From the moment attendees arrived, it was clear this wasn’t about “working the room.” It was about being in it.
The events were designed with inclusivity in mind. Introverts and extroverts alike had an entry point, whether through icebreaker cards or organic conversations that unfolded naturally. People came solo, brought a business bestie, or joined conversations already in motion. There was no right way to participate—only an open invitation to belong.
Across the summer series, around 50 people gathered, filling the space with curiosity, generosity, and shared experience. Conversations flowed easily. People lingered. Many attendees explored the Coco space through tours, imagining how coworking could support their work or future events. At the same time, new members joined Heyven, extending those connections beyond the hangout and into an ongoing network.
What made this partnership work was alignment. Both Heyven and Coco believe that community is built when people feel comfortable enough to show up as themselves. Coco showcased the value of their space not through a sales pitch, but through lived experience. Heyven created a social container where connection came first, and outcomes followed naturally.
Together, we created a positive, low-pressure environment where relationships could form without agenda. The result was not just attendance, but energy—an atmosphere people wanted to be part of again.
This collaboration reaffirmed something we deeply believe: when you lead with comfort, care, and intention, connection happens. And from connection, everything else grows.
